R3 Million Guaranteed Happy Valley All Africa Poker Tournament

The R3 Million Guaranteed Happy Valley All Africa Poker Tournament event will take place at Happy Valley Resort and Casino from 25 – 28 August 2011.

Starting stack will be 10,000 chips. There are unlimited re-buys and one add-on for the first evening. Re-buys are R5,000 for 10,000 chips and the Add-on is R7,500 for 25,000 chips.

The R17,000 Buy-in includes , R15,000 is allocated to the prizepool and the balance of the R2,000 is allocated for accommodation in the HAPPY VALLEY RESORT. The packages available are as follows:

Accommodation in the hotel at Happy Valley Resort - the full R2,000 will be allocated to the accommodation.
Accommodation in the garden rooms at Happy Valley Resort – R1,800 will be allocated to the accommodation and R200 will be discounted/refunded to the player.
Alternative Accommodation – the full R2,000 will be discounted/refunded to the player.
There is a R1,000 refund for each player that shares accommodation with another tournament player at Happy Valley Resort.

• During the tournament players will be allocated to the feature table. This is the table where filming of all the cards including players hole cards takes place.
• If a player is allocated to the table the player will be obliged to abide by all rules of the table as laid down by the TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR
• Each player will be required to wear a microphone.
• Whilst the player is at the feature table smoke breaks are not permitted. The TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR will announce a break at some time at the table for players to smoke etc.
• The player must show the hole cards to the camera position on the table. If a player refuses to show his cards to the camera, he can be disqualified from the tournament.
• Whilst players are on the feature table, no IPOD or music devices will be permitted. No cellphone calls or use will be permitted.
• All players on the feature table are to follow the dealers and TV crews instructions at all times.
• Players are to be aware that they are on the feature table and that all conversation is recorded and to please conduct themselves in an appropriate manner.
